Elizabeth Fryer, MA, LMFT

Elizabeth is a psychotherapist in private practice in St Louis, MO specializing in mindfulness based counseling, mentoring and mindfulness training for general, professional and mental health application.  She has been counseling since 1986 and teaching since 1996. 
Elizabeth has over 40 years of personal mindfulness practice and training, 20 years of teaching it and 30 years of specializing in mindful psychotherapy.  She lived for 10 years in East Asia studying mindfulness formally with traditional meditation masters.  She completed advanced mindfulness training and certification at SRMC in northern California in 2002. She codeveloped the nationally recognized mindfulness program at Monsanto Co in the late 1990s contemplativemind.org/archives/business

Her clinical training includes numerous modalities including object relations theory, relational psychology, somatic, cognitive behavioral (including Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy) and psychodynamic styles.
